Brittany Clancy Inducted into Alpha Chi National Honor Society on Nov. 1, 2015

2015 Nov 3

Brittany Clancy of Brookville , KS (67425) was among those honored for outstanding scholarship during the ceremony to induct 22 Kansas Wesleyan University students into the Alpha Chi National Honor Society on Sunday, Nov. 1, 2015, in Fitzpatrick Auditorium. The KWU Kansas Delta chapter of Alpha Chi hosted the event. To gain acceptance into Alpha Chi, a student must be in the top 10% of the junior or senior class.

The speaker for the ceremony was Dr. Daniel Botz, professor of Business and Accounting. He shared several powerful stories about the impact of people who chose to do the right thing for the welfare of others, no matter the cost, and how that kind of sacrifice can make a monumental difference in ways we do not see at that moment. He encouraged this year's Alpha Chi inductees to be world-changers in their own circles.

Attending the ceremony were families and friends of the inductees, along with KWU faculty, staff and students, including officers of the Kansas Delta chapter of Alpha Chi.
