Kansas Wesleyan Volleyball has ten Daktronics-NAIA Scholar Athletes

Kansas Wesleyan Volleyball saw ten student-athletes earn Daktronics-NAIA Scholar Athlete honors as the NAIA National Office announced the 2017 Daktronics-NAIA Scholar Athlete honorees.

KWU was second in the nation in total number of Scholar Athletes. Graceland had the nation's highest total with 11. Nationally, a total of 556 women's volleyball student athletes have been named as 2017 Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes.

Valerie Most of Brady, NE is majoring in Biomedical Chemistry and is one of the ten Scholar Athlete honorees.

In order to be named as a Daktronics-NAIA Scholar Athlete, student-athletes must have at least a 3.5 GPA as defined by the institution, be of junior academic status and have attended the current institution for at least one full academic year as a transfer or two full academic years as a non-transfer.
