Katie McLaughlin Named Scholar Athlete

Katie McLaughlin of Lake Forest, CA has been named as a Daktronics-NAIA Scholar Athlete in Women's Soccer. She recently finished her senior season with Kansas Wesleyan University's women's soccer. In order to be named as a Daktronics-NAIA Scholar Athlete, recipients must have a 3.5 cumulative GPA heading into the semester in which they played, be of at least junior academic status and have been on campus for at least one full academic year as a transfer or two years as a non-transfer.

McLaughlin was also a key contributor on the field for the Coyotes. She helped the team finish with a 16-3-3 record and share of the regular season KCAC (Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference) championship.
