Ty Wilson Becomes KWU Wrestling's First-Ever National Qualifier

Ty Wilson (Freshman: Puyallup, WA) finished in second place in the 157 pound weight class at the NAIA Wrestling South Regional Qualifier to become Kansas Wesleyan's first-ever NAIA Nationals qualifier. In the program's first year of competition, Kansas Wesleyan wrestling has produced a national qualifier, the KCAC Wrestler of the Year and the KCAC Coach of the Year. The 60th Annual NAIA Wrestling National Championships, presented by USA Wrestling-Kansas will take place at the Kansas Expocentre in Topeka March 3-4.
